Overview

2Fawcett have an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our client based in Nottingham on a full time, permanent basis. As a Production Supervisor, you will ensure that production is prepared before every shift and to lead the team in ensuring that quality and production targets are maintained.

Role & Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor

• Responsible for upholding and helping to enhance the company, legality, quality and authenticity culture
• Leading by example, ensure behaviours and actions are consistently in line with Company Values and ensuring that all processes and procedures regarding Health, Safety and Hygiene are strictly adhered to
• Ensuring that all pre-start checks are completed and to a satisfactory level
• Encourages a safe working environment for employees in their area & supports H&S initiatives
• Label and machine checks, set up the line and conduct a visual inspection of the line, reporting any faults or damaged parts to the Engineering and Operations Manager
• Operate machinery efficiently & minimise downtime where possible
• Ensuring all staff are trained and understand how to operate the production line against Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Seen to enforce quality standards on a daily basis & take appropriate action when standards are not met
• Lead by example to ensure good Hygiene and Good Housekeeping practices are maintained across the site

Requirements of the Production Supervisor

• Previous production experience
• Team leader or supervisory experience
• Able to work on their own initiative and problem solve quickly
• Have a ‘can do’ proactive approach to work
• Be able to multitask
• Enjoy working as part of a team and seen as a positive role model for staff
