Background:
2006: A Property Management Consultant. Started my Career in working with numerous Companies, dealing with people daily and my introduction to sales, marketing and building long term relationships.
2009: Joined a Recruitment Business, in the Midlands. This was my introduction to my Recruitment Career, where I concentrated on Finance Recruitment across the Midlands. Later to develop a strong understanding of Procurement & Supply Chain Opportunities.
2015: Launched the Procurement (Direct & Indirect), Supply Chain and Logistics Division for a large Recruitment Company in the Midlands.
Focused on both Junior and Senior Appointments.
2019: Exited the Business to Launch an independently owned Professional Services Recruitment Agency, 2fawcett Recruitment.

Having trained with the world’s largest recruitment firm, I moved into professional services, specialising in Accountancy & Finance. After 8 years climbing the ranks in large regional businesses, building successful recruitment teams, I took the opportunity to move to Toronto, Canada where I worked for one of Canada’s largest construction companies. This is where I found my passion for all things infrastructure and construction! I was fortunate enough to be involved in several projects in Ontario, both from a recruitment and operational perspective, building bridges, highways, and LRT.
In 2021, I returned to England and having worked with Anna-Maria previously, jumped at the opportunity to launch 2fawcett’s Infrastructure & Construction division. I love the culture at 2fawcett, particularly the ethos of empowering recruitment. Women represent only 11% of the workforce in construction and I will be proud to play even a small part in helping build a better future for women in construction.
In my spare time, you will find me either on a golf course (I have an incredible drive but it’s all downhill from there!) or walking my English bulldog, Hank! I am also a keen skier and Scuba diver. If the weather isn’t so great, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking for the family, baking or making my legendary chilli jam!

I am an avid fan of Football and Golf. When I am not playing these sports or in work I am generally keeping fit and running in the gym or socialising.

Background
In 2014 I found myself graduating from De Montfort University, shortly after I was given the opportunity to work for a global agency as an administrator and resourcer. Very quickly I found myself bitten by the recruitment bug and was promoted to consultant and the rest, as they say, is history. Fast forward 7 years, one multinational corporation and one independent agency later and I'm still as passionate about this industry as the day I started.

Outside of work you'll either find me with a gin glass or dog lead in my hand!
I am a dog mum to a sassy Patterjack called Maya, I love to socialise and spend all my spare time with family and friends and, as of this year, I am a mentor for a charity who support and empower young women.

I’m just returning to the wonderful world of recruitment after having my second baby girl. Having this time away has made me realise how important it is to work for a company who offers a fantastic supportive environment to work in and having worked with Mia in the past and seeing what she has built here at 2Fawcett I really cannot wait to start!

I started my professional career within the residential sales industry where I discovered my passion for helping people and recognised my natural abilty to build and maintain strong, genuine relationships.
Four years later I found myself relocating to the middle east and taking an unexpected leap into an oportunity that allowed me to grow and develop personally whilst working for a globally renowned organisation. I spent several years travelling 100s of destinations globaly.
Since returning to the UK I remoulded my love for sales and working with people into my first recruitment specific role in early 2021. Specialising within the industrial sector I have worked closely with both candidates and clients and pride myself on spending time to ascertain the perfect mutual fit for both, whilst I adapt and tailor my recruitment approach to best suit the clients business needs with proven results.

I spend my spare time running my small events styling company which is my creative outlet. My passion for travel means whilst I am not on holiday its likely I will be pretending to be with a glass of Aperol in hand and surrounded by good company.

I first started in Recruitment in 2017 where I specialised in the Industrial sector. It was very fast paced and busy and I learnt so many new skills to help me progress from a starting role on reception, moving to team support and then a seat at the desk as a Recruiter, getting to know all of my clients & candidates, what they’re needs were and using my skills to find suitable matches for both. I mainly dealt with temporary roles and there was nothing better than the hard work paying off, finding the right fit for a job and them being taken on on a permanent basis! Happy client happy candidate!
A few years later (and one of the toughest years for us all 2020) I made a huge decision to take on a new opportunity as an Sales Negotiator at one of Nottingham’s leading estate agency’s. I quickly adapted, matching buyers to their dream homes and negotiating to achieve my sellers the best offer! I moved from Sales Negotiator to Sales Manager to Branch Manager opening up a brand new office from a cold start. I loved the challenge of getting our name out there in new areas of Nottingham and building up the branch with a new team of negotiators, training them to be the best they could be! I enjoyed helping people with the next chapter of their lives and seeing their happy faces on Completion days!
The moment I met the team at 2fawcett I knew I’d be happy here! Being surrounded by successful, hard working professionals is going to allow me to grow even further in my professional career, adapting skills and learning many new ones along the way!
Interests
Outside of work, you’ll find me spoiling my puppy Maverick - I can’t help it! He’s a miniature dachshund and let me tell you, his cute looks are deceiving - he’s definitely a Maverick! Me and my fiancé love to go away on holiday and visit new places. My favourite to date was New York - where he proposed on Central Park! I enjoy spending free time with friends and family and let’s not forget the large Pinot!

I kicked off my career diving straight into a recruitment apprenticeship for 3 years. This degree covered a variety of sectors, gaining a wide variety of recruitment experience before finally settling into the Engineering division.
Having a hard working mindset not only benefits in a professional manor, but has allowed me to progress in my hobbies such as swimming in the Olympic trials. Now, I use my fitness enthusiasm in a different industry - training as a heavy weight boxer competing in various competitions. I am a hardworking, motivated individual, who doesn’t shy away from those 4am training sessions prior to work!

After working for the NHS for over 10 years, I decided it was time for a career change. For the next 6 months I will be learning everything there is to know about recruitment, helping both clients and candidates achieve their business goals.
Interests
Like most of the recruiters here at 2fawcett Recruitment, I love travelling to new destinations with my family. I have two young girls that keep me on my toes and they are my world. I also enjoy weekend's away, nights out and socialising with friends.
After leaving school I started a career as a professional dancer entertaining on stages across the world. After hanging up my dancing shoes I went into retail before exploring a career in recruitment. I was eager to join 2fawcett and I couldn't wait to start helping others find their dream jobs too - My role is very rewarding!
Outside of work I still enjoy dancing / teaching dance. When I'm not dancing I have a little boy at home who is my world. I love spending time with him.

Whilst studying at university, I simultaneously worked in a customer service environment, and gained brilliant transferable customer service skills. I started off my career doing hair as it was always something I wanted to do when I was growing up. Once I started my apprenticeship I eventually realised it wasn't for me. After looking for a career change I found my feet working in a friendly office environment, and I haven't looked back since! I have been in administration for over 2 years now and when I saw that 2fawcett were hiring I jumped at the chance as they seemed like such a friendly and amazing company to work for - How right was I! 2fawcett is also somewhere I feel I can definitely see my long term future at for sure.
Outside of work hours I love spending time with my friends and family, going on long walks, relaxing in pub gardens and I absolutely love travelling to hot countries (especially for the frozen cocktails in hand on a gorgeous beach!). I do also love the winter months too! Christmas is definitely one of my most favourite times of the year!
