Role: Marketing Executive

2fawcett are recruiting for a Marketing Executive on a Permanent basis, based at our clients Leicestershire HQ. As the Marketing Executive you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to produce all marketing collateral for the UK market. A can-do, proactive approach to a wide variety of tasks is essential. This position provides room for a long-term career.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive
To maintain strong relationships with the press and advertising publications, external print, website, and supply companies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept in organising and planning.
  • Ability to multi-task, work flexibly and operate under pressure.
  • Manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Inherent perception of ‘best quality’.
  • Adaptability.
  • Strong team working skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Video editing experience an advantage.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Liaise with designers and printers.
  • Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press.
  • Contribute to and develop marketing plans and strategies.
  • Manage budgets.
  • Support the Marketing Manager and work closely with employees in all departments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company sales and marketing plans
  • Provide regular market and competitor research and analysis, as required.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.

Requirements of the Marketing Executive

  • A business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies.
  • Technical marketing skills.
  • Strong technical writing ability.
  • Sound knowledge of the English language.
  • Editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Mac user and applications including website CMS, Id, Ai, Ps and Microsoft Office.
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and a positive attitude to work.
  • Able to plan and manage your own work.
  • Natural ability to build good working relationships with staff, customers, and the press.
  • Creative thinker and willing to offer new ideas.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager with a ‘make-it-happen’ attitude to get the job done
