2Fawcett are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant Manager to join a company located in Castle Donnington on a Permanent Basis.

Working for this global manufacturer with over half a century of experience they are a market leader in their industry! Reporting directly into the finance manager you will be working for a very well-respected employer within a well established team.

The Role & Responsibilities of Accounts Assistant Manager

  • Take a full ownership of accounting tasks and complete day to day financial transactions as well as the month end close tasks, including review and post prepayments/accruals, fixed assets, stock, review balance sheet, PL & BS analysis, all relevant adjustments, for one subsidiary company and Global parts, Tire Assembly departments.
  • Prepare and submit the financial and other required reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) for the group to the Head Office (financial results, lease information, investment and inventory information etc)
  • Upload the monthly payroll journals, bonus provision and make adjustments if any.
  • Work with the auditors on the year-end statutory audits and other ad-hoc audits. This will include drafting the financial statements and other relevant documents for all companies.
  • Work with the tax consultant to prepare the corporation tax returns for the group.
  • Complete group VAT returns/Intrastat SDs
  • Review compliance including preparation annual documents
  • Verify the posted purchase invoices and prepare the payment list.
  • Supervising accounts assistants
  • Other ad-hoc tasks, reporting and projects to assist Head of Finance

Requirements of Account Assistant Manager

  • Excellent communication skills and organisational skills and be able to manage a busy workload independently
  • Highly numerate with high degree of accuracy
  • Experience of within a similar role
  • ACCA/CIMA or ACA part qualified / qualified
  • SAP experience preferable


Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 17.00pm
