Overview
2fawcett are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a well-established and growing company in Doncaster. This part-time role involves working closely with the existing finance team to support the ongoing success and growth of the business. The ideal candidate will have prior Accounts Assistant experience.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant
– General daily accounts duties
– Set up new supplier accounts
– Administration of sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
– Liaise with suppliers and other departments
– Process purchase invoices
– Ad-hoc tasks as required to assist the Finance department
– Prepare supplier payment run
– Develop purchase ledger processes
– Ensuring accurate ledgers allocated to purchase payments
– Reconciliation of delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders

Requirements of the Accounts Assistant
– Experience using accounting software
– Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
– Understanding of purchase/sales ledger cycles
