Your Role: As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of their Finance team, working closely with the Finance Manager in their friendly, vibrant open-plan office. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling accounts receivable and payable functions such as invoicing, remittances, and daily cash posting.
  • Managing credit control to ensure timely payments.
  • Processing staff expenses and timesheet reports.
  • Reconciling bank accounts and credit card payments.
  • Assisting with monthly financial analysis summaries.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Cash book reconciliation (system) – including bank reconciliation
  • Performing data entry tasks and managing filing systems.
  • Assisting with month-end duties as assigned by Senior Management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • AAT Level 2 or 3 Qualification (desirable).
  • Proven experience in a similar financial system.
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
