Role: Accounts Administrator

Hourly rate: £13
Location: Ilkeston
Type: Part-time (4 days per week), Office based, Temporary (3 weeks)

2fawcett are working with a Derbyshire business who are seeking temporary support in their finance team to cover for sick leave with a start date of Monday 3rd June.

About the Role: As the Part-Time Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping the financial operations running smoothly. Reporting to and working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for a range of core duties, including:

  • Processing supplier invoices and arranging payments.
  • Issuing client invoices and maintaining regular statements.
  • Reconciling banking transactions
  • Logging payments against the sales ledger
  • Cash allocation

Requirements of the Accounts Administrator:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our talented team while also using initiative.
