Overview

2fawcett are recruiting for an accountant to work for a company based in Brighouse.

As the accountant, you will be responsible for a portfolio of different clients ranging from small sole traders to large partnerships and limited companies.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Accountant

• Limited company accounts
• Bookkeeping
• CIS returns
• Management accounts
• P11Ds
• Self-assessment
• Sole trades/partnerships
• Reviewing and preparing accounts and tax computations (statutory and management)
• Reviewing and preparing tax returns of individuals and partnerships
• Reviewing VAT returns prior to submission

Requirements of the Accountant

• Ideally will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified but QBE is considered
• Experience in managing a portfolio of different clients
• Proven record of maintaining and developing strong customer relationships
• Experience with accountancy softwares
• Previous experience in a similar role
