The Role
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and supply chain function. Working closely with internal teams, logistics partners, and external suppliers, you’ll ensure the smooth coordination of warehouse administration and logistics activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and coordinating all incoming drivers and visitors, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
- Booking collections with logistics partners and uploading shipment requirements.
- Arranging customer delivery bookings and following up on outstanding deliveries.
- Managing goods-in container bookings, including amendments and prioritisation.
- Monitoring and reporting demurrage and detention charges, including invoice approval.
- Coordinating maintenance schedules, servicing, inspections, and repairs.
- Raising and assigning purchase orders for transport, recruitment, servicing, pallets, skips, consumables, and other operational requirements.
- Liaising with recruitment agencies and processing warehouse staffing timesheets.
- Maintaining warehouse training records and supporting the onboarding of new employees.
- Ensuring showroom supplies are stocked and ready for customer meetings.
- Carrying out general office administration, including ordering uniforms and managing incoming parcels.
- Providing administrative support to the wider Supply Chain team as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Strong IT skills, including confidence using Excel and business systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach to work.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise changing workloads.
- The ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain administration role would be advantageous.
