We are recruiting for an experienced Tool Setter / Shift Leader to join a busy CNC press cell.

You will be responsible for leading 5 operators and ensuring the smooth running of the shift. This is a hands-on role involving tool setting, changeovers, fault finding and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 5 operators.
• Carry out tool changes and line changeovers.
• Set and operate CNC press equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve production and tooling issues.
• Minimise downtime and maintain production output.
• Ensure quality, safety and production standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with management and other shifts.

About You

• Previous experience as a Tool Setter, CNC Setter or Press Setter.
• Experience with CNC presses or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Confident leading a small team.
• Hands-on approach with good communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

£37,000 | Monday–Friday | Rotating 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm shifts
