About the Role:

We’re currently seeking a skilled and reliable TIG Welder to join our team at a well-established heavy industrial engineering firm in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale industrial projects, contributing to the fabrication of high-integrity components for sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• TIG welding of thick gauge stainless steel, carbon steel, and exotic alloys
• Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings and welding procedures
• Performing weld inspections to ensure quality and compliance
• Working to high health & safety standards in a heavy industrial environment
• Collaborating with fabricators, fitters, and supervisors to meet production deadlines

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in TIG welding within a heavy industrial or fabrication setting
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME, EN ISO, etc)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid welding qualifications or coding certificates preferred (can be refreshed)
• A proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail
