We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Tier One provider within the highway sector, who are looking to appoint a Social Value & Customer Lead to join their growing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social value professional looking to take ownership of strategy, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.

You will play a key role in shaping and driving social value, customer engagement, EDI, and community initiatives across the business, helping to create a lasting positive impact within local communities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the company’s Social Value & Customer strategy.
  • Deliver social value commitments across multiple projects and frameworks.
  • Support and develop Social Value Champions across operational teams.
  • Promote a culture of social value, EDI, customer engagement, and corporate responsibility.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community partners.
  • Work collaboratively with customer and EDI teams.
  • Support project teams with reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Attend and support community engagement and volunteering events.

About You:

  • Previous experience within social value, customer engagement, CSR, or community engagement.
  • Experience within construction, highways, infrastructure, engineering, or a related sector preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EDI, social impact, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident producing reports, presentations, and tender responses.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
