We are recruiting on behalf of an established contractor for an experienced Site Manager / Site Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project based in Aylesbury, starting 5th October.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term continuity of work, with a strong pipeline of projects already secured into 2027.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, quality and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and supervising site activities
• Coordinating contractors, operatives and site resources
• Ensuring SHEQS procedures are followed
• Managing QA and site documentation
• Monitoring progress against programme
• Liaising with clients and other key stakeholders
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required standard
• Supporting the successful delivery of enabling and infrastructure works

About You

We are looking for an experienced site professional with a strong background within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Experience within any of the following would be particularly advantageous:

• Highways / major roadworks
• Road construction
• Utilities
• Energy infrastructure
• Transmission projects
• Enabling works

You will need to be confident managing site operations, dealing directly with clients and working within structured SHEQS and QA processes.

Qualifications

The following would be highly desirable:

• SMSTS
• NRSWA Site Supervisor / Street Works
• EUSR Category 1 & 2
• HSG47 – Avoiding Danger from Underground Services
