Hours: x1 Spot Available for DAYS, x1 Spot Available for NIGHTS
DAYS: (Mon–Thurs 7.30am–3.30pm, Friday finish 12.30pm)
NIGHTS: (Mon–Thurs 8pm–6am)
Overview:
We’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our growing team in Sutton-in-Ashfield. Our company is a specialist manufacturer for the food and beverage industry, producing high-value stainless steel components and bespoke machinery used by leading brands across the UK and beyond.

Responsibilities:
- Interpreting technical drawings and engineering blueprints to exact specifications
- Fabricating high-grade stainless steel components using a range of machinery and hand tools
- Precision MIG and TIG welding (training available if required)
- Operating press brakes, guillotines, rollers, and other fabrication tools
- Measuring, cutting, folding, and assembling components with accuracy and care
- Ensuring all finished products meet strict hygiene and finish standards required by the food industry
- Collaborating with design and production teams to solve technical challenges
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace in line with H&S standards
Requirements:
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication, ideally within stainless steel
- Strong ability to read and follow technical drawings and diagrams
- Skilled with fabrication tools and machinery (press brake, guillotine, TIG/MIG welding, etc.)
- Familiarity with food-grade finish standards is a plus
- High attention to detail and pride in producing precision components
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Flexible to work days or nights depending on preference and availability
- Qualifications in fabrication/welding or relevant hands-on experience
