Overview

2fawcett are recruiting for a Sales Support Executive to join a well-established business based in Lincoln on a permanent basis.

You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing sales team, reporting directly to the Sales Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the sales function, providing essential administrative support, managing customer interactions, and maintaining accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team.
  • Manage and produce weekly customer and internal sales performance reports.
  • Support lead generation activities through telesales and market research tools.
  • Manage inbound leads via the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
  • Assist with account management for key customers, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Process quotations and sales orders accurately via internal systems/portals.
  • Proof and validate invoices prior to issue.
  • Handle customer queries and calls, ensuring a high level of service at all times.
  • Maintain and promote effective use of the CRM system.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including Health & Safety procedures.
  • Proactively contribute to continuous improvement within the sales support function.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • IT literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
