Overview
2fawcett are recruiting for a Sales Support Executive to join a well-established business based in Lincoln on a permanent basis.
You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing sales team, reporting directly to the Sales Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the sales function, providing essential administrative support, managing customer interactions, and maintaining accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team.
- Manage and produce weekly customer and internal sales performance reports.
- Support lead generation activities through telesales and market research tools.
- Manage inbound leads via the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
- Assist with account management for key customers, maintaining strong relationships.
- Process quotations and sales orders accurately via internal systems/portals.
- Proof and validate invoices prior to issue.
- Handle customer queries and calls, ensuring a high level of service at all times.
- Maintain and promote effective use of the CRM system.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including Health & Safety procedures.
- Proactively contribute to continuous improvement within the sales support function.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- IT literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
