An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a successful and growing business based in Chesterfield. Working within a supportive commercial team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of customer orders from quotation through to delivery while providing exceptional administrative and customer service support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales and account management team.
  • Manage the smooth processing of customer orders from quotation through to delivery.
  • Liaise with suppliers, warehouse teams, and logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company processes and customer requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with customers, providing updates and ensuring excellent service levels.
  • Support Account Managers with reports, KPI data, and general administrative tasks.
  • Assist with order forecasting and participate in team meetings to review progress.

 

About You:

  • Previous experience in a busy sales administration or commercial support role.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive, positive attitude with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of exports or logistics would be advantageous but is not essential.
