2fawcett Infrastructure & Construction are recruiting for an excellent opportunity for an experienced Rail Planner, to join a leading railway and civil engineering contractor, working on a multi-million pound multi-disciplinary framework with market leading training and progression opportunities.

In this role, you’ll provide detailed schedules in Primavera P6, assure supplier/contractor programmes under NEC contracts, and drive structured progress measurement and reporting.

Role responsibilities:

• Programme management and planning support across major project streams
• Build and maintain programmes in Primavera P6
• Identify critical paths, risks, and mitigation options to keep the project on track.
• Track project progress, review programmes for NEC compliance in conjunction with delivery teams
• Ensure compliance with internal project governance and safety standards.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a Project Planner role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
• Candidate ideally from a Rail background
• Ideally degree educated with Civil Engineering, project management or similar
• Working with NEC3/4
• Experience working with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Projects
