2fawcett are working closely with our client and have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to play a critical role in providing functional leadership across the business, championing a strong quality culture and ensuring that our systems, processes, and standards support the delivery of work that is right first time.
You will act as the business’ quality expert, providing specialist support to operational teams and senior leaders. Through strong leadership and collaboration, you will help drive continuous improvement, support defect free delivery, and ensure compliance with the highest industry standards.
The Role
As Quality Manager, you will lead the implementation and development of quality management systems, ensuring that all processes support safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery across all projects.
You will work closely with leadership teams to embed a culture focused on getting things right first time. You will monitor quality performance across the business, analyse trends, and support the implementation of improvement actions where required.
You will ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 44001 and client requirements, supporting both internal governance processes and external accreditation. This includes working with audit functions, facilitating quality reviews, and supporting management system reviews.
You will also support training and development across the business, providing the knowledge and tools required to continuously improve quality performance. This will include coaching project teams, facilitating improvement initiatives, and supporting investigations and root cause analysis where required.
In addition, you will represent the business in client quality discussions, produce key performance reports and metrics, and challenge systems and processes to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
- An experienced Quality professional with experience within the infrastructure (ideally within the Highways sector) environment
- PCQI
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to challenge and improve quality performance across the business.
- You will be experienced in building relationships and influencing positive change across complex project environments.
- You will be highly organised with strong analytical skills, capable of gathering and evaluating information to produce clear, persuasive reports
- Strong communication skills
- Full driving licence
- Undertake Drug & Alcohol testing
- Undertake safety critical medical
- CSCS – Desirable
