About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Chesterfield. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet quality standards before reaching our customers. You’ll play a key part in maintaining high production standards and continuous improvement initiatives within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products
• Use measuring tools such as callipers, micrometres, gauges, and other inspection equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records
• Report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support quality audits and compliance checks
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure consistent quality output
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and procedures
• Proficiency with inspection tools and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus
