Purchasing & Logistics Administrator
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Nottingham (NG8)
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Purchasing & Logistics Administrator to support their Purchasing and Logistics team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the timely ordering, coordination, and delivery of materials, working closely with suppliers, transport providers, and internal site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, raise, and manage purchase orders using Inflow software
- Monitor delivery schedules and proactively follow up with suppliers
- Book transport and coordinate logistics to meet site requirements
- Liaise with site support staff to ensure materials are delivered on time and in full
- Maintain accurate records, including data entry and document control
- Provide general administrative support to the purchasing team as required
About the Candidate:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in purchasing, administration, or logistics (preferred)
- Familiarity with Inflow or similar purchasing/ERP systems (training provided)
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications
