We’re working with a fantastic business in the Melbourne area seeking a detail‑oriented Purchase Ledger / Finance Assistant to join their friendly, down‑to‑earth finance team. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager, making this a great opportunity for someone ready to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in, and contribute within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase Ledger processing and reconciliation
  • Supplier payments including credit card transactions
  • Sales Ledger support
  • Credit control activities
  • Supporting general finance administration and adhoc duties

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of purchase ledger is essential.
  • Previous experience in a finance role within manufacturing or a related industry is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Sage 50.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload independently and meet deadlines.
  • Able to start at short notice.
