We’re working with a fantastic business in the Melbourne area seeking a detail‑oriented Purchase Ledger / Finance Assistant to join their friendly, down‑to‑earth finance team. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager, making this a great opportunity for someone ready to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in, and contribute within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase Ledger processing and reconciliation
- Supplier payments including credit card transactions
- Sales Ledger support
- Credit control activities
- Supporting general finance administration and adhoc duties
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of purchase ledger is essential.
- Previous experience in a finance role within manufacturing or a related industry is desirable.
- Familiarity with Sage 50.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload independently and meet deadlines.
- Able to start at short notice.
