Production Planner
Location: Mexborough, S64
Salary: £29,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Production Planner to join our Clients team in Mexborough. This role would suit someone with experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment who is looking to further develop their planning and coordination skills.

You will be responsible for supporting production operations by helping plan workloads, coordinating schedules, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and scheduling production activities
  • Coordinate workloads across production departments
  • Monitor progress of jobs and update schedules where required
  • Work closely with production and purchasing teams to ensure materials are available
  • Help ensure customer delivery deadlines are achieved
  • Maintain accurate production and planning records
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of manufacturing operations
  • Communicate effectively with shop floor and office teams

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Some experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordination
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of production processes
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience supporting or coordinating teams would be beneficial but not essential
