2fawcett is seeking a talented Production Planner to join our clients growing Supply Chain team. As a Production Planner, working for an industry leading manufacturing business, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of products through efficient production planning and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining all documentation related to planning processes
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of end-to-end business processes
  • Working with data from Sales Orders and BOMs to facilitate effective production scheduling
  • Reviewing and acting on MRP recommendations to release Production Orders for timely delivery
  • Collaborating with Production teams to schedule and plan capacity
  • Managing daily order workflows and ensuring timely shipping and invoicing
  • Liaising with Sales to communicate any stock or delivery issues

About the candidate

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a production planner (preferably in manufacturing)
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics and Excel
  • A tenacious, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
