Job Title: Part-Time Personal Assistant
Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
Location: Berkshire (Hybrid – office/remote with occasional on-site requirements)
Hours: Part-time (approx. 20–25 hours per week, flexible) – £30,000 – £35,000 FTE
Overview
We are a small, growing business based in Berkshire seeking a highly organised and reliable Part-Time Personal Assistant to support both business and light private/household administration.
This role is varied and hands-on, combining PA support, day-to-day operational coordination, and assistance with basic financial and expense management. The ideal candidate will be practical, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a flexible small-business environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Assistant Support
- Manage diaries, appointments, and scheduling
- Coordinate meetings, calls, and day-to-day commitments
- Handle emails, correspondence, and general administrative tasks
- Arrange travel and logistics where required
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external communications
Business & Operations Support
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the business
- Assist with supplier coordination and day-to-day service management
- Support organisation of documents, records, and systems
- Follow up on tasks and ensure actions are completed
Household / Property Administration (Light Support)
- Assist with coordination of property or household-related maintenance
- Liaise with contractors and service providers when required
- Help manage schedules for maintenance or service visits
- Ensure smooth day-to-day coordination of household-related tasks
Expenses & Basic Financial Administration
- Process and record business and household expenses
- Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks (e.g. reconciling expenses, tracking spend)
- Liaise with external accountants if required
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and bills
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a PA, administrative, or operations support role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable handling expenses, invoices, or basic financial admin
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Able to work independently in a small business environment
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, calendars)
Desirable
- Experience as a Personal Assistant, Office Manager, or similar hybrid role
- Exposure to bookkeeping or expense management systems
- Experience working in a small business or family-run environment
- Ability to take initiative and work without heavy structure
