Operations & Business Support
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
About the Role
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and adaptable Operations & Business Support Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of the business, supporting Operations, Logistics, compliance, HR administration, marketing activities and customer engagement. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring the business runs efficiently and professionally.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable managing multiple priorities and have the confidence to build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Export Coordination
- Coordinate UK and international shipments with customers, freight forwarders and logistics providers.
- Liaise with Customs Agents and provide documentation required for export clearance.
- Track shipments and proactively communicate with all parties to ensure smooth delivery.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and priorities to keep activities progressing.
Compliance & Quality Support
- Support ISO9001 compliance activities and audit preparation.
- Maintain quality records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with the review and updating of company policies and procedures.
Business Support
- Manage and maintain the company’s HR platform and employee records.
- Support onboarding and offboarding administration.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration, including private healthcare arrangements.
- Assist with maintaining HR documentation and policies.
- Coordinate customer visits, meetings and events.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, catering and related logistics.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team as required.
Marketing & Exhibition Support
- Assist with company marketing activities, including social media updates and liaison with external marketing providers.
- Order marketing materials and business collateral.
- Coordinate exhibition and trade show logistics.
- Ensure exhibition materials and products are prepared and available ahead of events.
Office Administration
- Order stationery, business cards and office supplies.
- Help maintain a professional and organised working environment.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Desirable Experience
- Logistics, shipping or export administration.
- HR administration.
- ISO9001 or quality management systems.
- Marketing or event coordination.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, technology, defence or similar technical sectors.
