We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an organised and proactive Office Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy and fast-paced business.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple tasks, keeping operations running smoothly, and providing excellent administrative support across the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily office operations and administration.
  • Coordinating travel and accommodation bookings for staff.
  • Managing company vehicle records, servicing schedules, and logistics.
  • Supporting senior management with diary management, meetings, and general administration.
  • Coordinating employee training bookings and maintaining training records.
  • Processing purchase orders, invoices, and tracking office-related costs.
  • Maintaining company records and document control systems.
  • Liaising with suppliers and service providers.
  • Supporting compliance, health & safety, and office procedures.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to office systems and processes.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Experienced in office management, administration, or operations support.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to work across all levels of the business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office systems.
  • Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience coordinating travel, accommodation, or fleet logistics.
  • Financial administration experience including invoices and purchase orders.
  • Experience working in construction, engineering, or another fast-paced operational environment.
