The Role:

We are looking for an organised and reliable Office Administrator to support the day-to-day running of a busy office environment.

This is a varied administration role involving customer communication, invoicing, office coordination and general business support. You will work closely with the Managing Director and external bookkeeper to help ensure the smooth running of the office and administrative processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • General day-to-day office administration.
  • Processing sales invoices and monthly customer statements.
  • Supporting basic credit control and payment chasing.
  • Assisting with supplier payments and purchase administration.
  • Handling customer enquiries and trade account applications.
  • Supporting order processing and dispatch administration.
  • Maintaining office records, databases and filing systems.
  • Ordering office supplies and coordinating general office requirements.
  • Liaising with the company bookkeeper regarding financial administration.
  • Assisting with HR and health & safety administration.
  • Providing general administrative support across the business.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience within an office administration role.
  • Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
  • Confident and professional communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using accounts software such as QuickBooks is beneficial.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
  • Positive and proactive approach to work.
