Job Title: NPD Technologist (Food Manufacturing)
Location: Enfield, North London
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £30,000 per annum

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised NPD Technologist to join our clients team, reporting directly to the NPD Manager. You will support the creation and development of new food products through the full NPD process, from concept through to launch, working closely with customers and internal teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food innovation and trends, looking to develop their career within food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret customer briefs and develop product recipes
• Coordinate and prepare customer samples
• Complete initial product costings
• Manage customer contact and care throughout the development process
• Project manage NPD briefs from concept to launch
• Plan, manage, and report on NPD trials
• Oversee first production runs and product launches
• Assist with customer presentations
• Conduct competitor and market reviews

About You

• Degree in Food Science or a related discipline
• Ideally some NPD experience within the food manufacturing sector
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Passionate and motivated about food and current food trends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent PC skills
• Holds a valid UK driving licence
