Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and condition-based maintenance
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime
  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to maximise equipment uptime
  • Support continuous improvement activities such as TPM, 5S, and Kaizen
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Operate within a safety-first culture, adhering to health and safety regulations

 

Desirable Skills (not essential):

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (e.g. TPM, 5S, AM/PM)
  • Previous experience in an automotive or high-volume production setting
  • Welding skills (Arc/MIG)
  • IPAF certification
  • 17th Edition electrical qualification
  • Experience with Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Ability to program or modify PLC logic
  • CAD knowledge
