2fawcett are supporting a client within the manufacturing sector who are looking for a Logistics Operative to join the team.

Overview and Initial Information:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing logistics team within a well-established manufacturing business. As a Logistics Operative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations including goods in/out, product movement, batching, sampling, and stock control.

This hands-on role suits someone with a strong work ethic, a current FLT licence, and previous experience in a fast-paced environment where quality and safety are a priority.

About You:

You’ll be confident operating FLT machinery, comfortable working under pressure, and proactive in getting tasks done. Experience in logistics or warehousing is essential, and any knowledge of chemical handling or ISO standards would be a bonus.

Role Responsibilities:

• Load/unload vehicles and tankers using FLT and telehandler
• Move goods around site and off-site storage areas
• Batch, decant, and prepare materials for production
• Liaise with drivers and ensure accurate loading schedules
• Take samples and maintain quality documentation
• Assist with regular stock takes
• Follow all safety and regulatory procedures at all times
