Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their project management career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Support the management of day-to-day project activities including planning, tracking, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and report key metrics to senior project managers and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality assurance, and procurement.
- Identify and escalate potential risks, bottlenecks, or issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Help maintain project documentation including Gantt charts, meeting minutes, and status reports.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates and gathering input from team members.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all project activities comply with company policies and relevant industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a project coordination or assistant role, preferably in manufacturing or production.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from experienced project professionals.
