Ideal applicants will have either recently completed an apprenticeship or possess around 1 year’s experience in warehousing, logistics, goods-in/goods-out or manufacturing. The key requirement is attitude and ambition rather than extensive experience. About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious individual to join a growing manufacturing business in Sheffield.

This position has been created for someone who is looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing and operations. You’ll initially join the workshop team, gaining hands-on experience across goods-in, goods-out, stock control and general manufacturing support, with clear opportunities to progress as your skills and experience develop.

Whether you’ve recently completed an apprenticeship or have around 12 months’ experience in a logistics, warehouse, manufacturing or production environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries (Goods In)
• Preparing, packing and dispatching customer orders (Goods Out)
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management
• Moving materials throughout the workshop and production areas
• Supporting manufacturing and production teams as required
• Maintaining accurate records of stock movements
• Ensuring products are stored correctly and safely
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the workshop
• Following all health and safety procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine ambition to progress within a manufacturing environment.

You may be:

• A recent apprentice looking for your first permanent opportunity
• Someone with around 12 months’ experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or production
• Keen to learn new skills and develop your career
• Reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Organised and able to work effectively in a busy environment
