Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior CNC Engineer to join a growing and well-established manufacturing company. Responsibilities:

• Operate, set, and program CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
• Work with CAD/CAM software to design and modify machining programs.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery.
• Ensure quality control by conducting inspections and measurements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a safe and efficient workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise machining.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating CNC machines (training will be provided for junior candidates).
• Understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• A team player with strong communication skills.
• Engineering qualification (apprenticeship, HNC, or degree in a related field) is an advantage.
