2fawcett are currently recruiting an Internal Sales Executive for a well-established client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a proactive internal sales team, playing a key role in driving sales growth while delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be confident, organised, and motivated, with a strong ability to build long-lasting customer relationships.

 

Duties:

  • Make proactive sales calls to new and existing clients, focusing on relationship building.
  • Respond to sales and technical enquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Work closely with the internal sales team to support and drive sales growth.
  • Follow up on all sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate and qualify leads in line with the company’s strategic plan.
  • Develop and maintain accurate customer records and databases.
  • Negotiate with clients within agreed commercial parameters.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing pricing structures and price lists.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Office Manager to support sales strategy and performance.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to support marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor, report, and follow up on sales activity.
  • Assist with sales action plans and strategies where required.
  • Participate in UK and international sales events when required.
  • Engage in sales training and attend external sales meetings as necessary.
  • Comply with health, safety, environmental, and company procedures at all times.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a proactive internal sales role.
  • Proven ability to build and develop strong customer relationships.
  • Exceptional customer service and support skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent IT skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of basic business principles.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in a technical sales role.
  • Knowledge of drainage rehabilitation products.
  • Experience within construction or drainage industries.
  • Experience using Sage ERP software.
