Role: HSQE Administrator
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Ilkeston
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000

About the Role
We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused HSQE Administrator to support the HSQE leadership team with essential compliance and safety administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain HSQE systems, dashboards and records
  • Support monthly ESG data collection and reporting.
  • Coordinate inductions for new starters and keep HSQE notices, documentation and office safety information up to date.
  • Assist with audits by collating evidence, updating trackers and maintaining organised files.
  • Support incident investigations with statements, photos and document uploads.
  • Manage purchase orders and training/certification records.
  • Oversee basic facilities and office administration, including statutory inspections and routine checks.

Essential:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word).
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking ability.
  • Confident communicator with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to meet tight and changing deadlines.
  • Proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable asking questions.
  • Trustworthy, adaptable and a team player.
  • Experience using databases.
  • Working towards a Health & Safety qualification (NVQ or equivalent).
