Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5pm; Friday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Overview
2fawcett are recruiting for an HR Administrator to join a well-established business based in Stoke-On-Trent on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This opportunity has arisen due to a current team member taking time out to travel.
You will be joining a supportive HR team of three, including an HR Manager and HR Coordinator, providing you with excellent guidance and support throughout your contract. While this role is initially fixed-term, there is potential for future opportunities within the business as it continues to grow.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on HR experience within a collaborative and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage HR documentation, employee records, and onboarding materials
- Input and update payroll data (weekly and monthly)
- Support the HR team with ongoing project work
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, ensuring timely and professional responses
- Provide general administrative support to the HR function
Requirements
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, ideally with previous customer-facing experience
- Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Some previous HR experience or exposure is desirable
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
