The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Hire Desk Assistant Manager to join a well-established and growing crane hire business based in Goole.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company within the lifting and construction sector, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy hire desk operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming enquiries and processing hire bookings
- Planning and scheduling crane hires
- Coordinating crane movements, operators, and transport
- Liaising with customers, site teams, and internal departments
- Supporting the Hire Desk Manager with daily operations
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in crane hire, plant hire, tool hire, or equipment rental
- Alternatively, experience in transport planning or logistics coordination
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Confident dealing with customers and managing bookings
