2fawcett Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Driver to join a well-established, growing business based in Burton-on-Trent. You’ll operate state-of-the-art, bespoke vacuum tankers to provide essential environmental services across the UK – from cleaning interceptors and wash bays to high-powered jetting and drainage solutions.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operating high-spec vacuum and jetting equipment
• Nationwide travel (with 4 nights out per week typical)
• Heavy manual handling (e.g. manhole covers, drain grates)
• Problem-solving on site and ensuring all services are delivered safely and efficiently
• Performing daily and weekly maintenance checks on your vehicle and pump systems

💷 Pay & Perks:

• Starting pay: £14.00/hour (45 hrs/week)
  ⤷ Increases to £15.00 after 6 months, £15.50 after 1 year
• Overtime: £17.50/hour
  ⤷ Increases to £18.75 after 6 months
• Night Out Allowance: £26.20/night, rising to £32 after probation
• Double Pay on weekends and Bank Holidays
• Annual Pay Reviews at key milestones (1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 years)

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Class 2 License, Driver CPC, and Digi Card
• 1+ year of HGV experience preferred
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical tasks
• Great problem-solving skills
• Flexibility for early starts and nationwide travel
