The Role: Health & Safety Manager
Location: Gainsborough
Salary: £41,000 – £43,000 DOE

2fawcett are recruiting on behalf of a market leading manufacturing business who is looking to appoint a confident and experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety & Environmental performance at a key UK facility.

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you will shape site culture, drive compliance and play a central part in delivering sustainability objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading all Health, Safety & Environmental activity across the site
  • Driving a proactive, behavioural safety culture
  • Maintaining and improving systems aligned to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • Ensuring full statutory and regulatory compliance
  • Delivering the annual Site H&S Plan and achieving KPI targets
  • Managing risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and incident investigations
  • Conducting audits and closing compliance gaps
  • Delivering internal HSE training and inductions
  • Publishing and analysing HSE and sustainability performance data
  • Supporting wider divisional sustainability initiatives

You will work closely with Site Leadership, Engineering and Facilities teams, acting as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor on all HSE matters.

What We’re Looking For

  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) – essential
  • Strong HSE leadership experience within manufacturing
  • Practical knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
  • Experience delivering training to operational teams
  • Confident communicator with gravitas and influence
  • Organised, proactive and solutions-driven
  • Able to challenge constructively and drive continuous improvement

Environmental qualifications are desirable but not essential.
