Job Title: Financial Accountant
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Location: Central-East Birmingham, Nechells (B7)
Type: Permanent, Office Based, Full Time, Monday – Friday

Overview
2Fawcett is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join a growing manufacturing business based in Birmingham.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and monitor financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Provide financial guidance to internal teams and management.
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience
- Proven experience using accounting software, with Sage 200 experience preferred
- Proficiency in financial management principles including accounts payable, receivables, and general ledger maintenance.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems or processes within a fast-paced environment.
