Job Title: Finance Manager
Salary: Up to £50,000

Overview

We’re recruiting on behalf of an established and rewarding organisation based in Derby. They are going through an exciting period of growth and are looking for an experienced, commercially minded Finance Manager to play a key role in strengthening and developing the finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and providing valuable financial insight to support business growth and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day finance function across the Group, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls and compliance with statutory requirements
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow reporting, variance analysis and KPI reporting
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial modelling to support business growth and strategic decision-making
  • Lead finance system improvements, including the implementation and optimisation of Xero, automation and reporting enhancements
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and financial visibility across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or AAT Level 4 qualification
  • Proven experience working as a management accountant or in a financial leadership role
  • Experience overseeing core finance operations including invoicing, reconciliations, payroll and cash flow management
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficient in Xero
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence both financial and non-financial stakeholders
