Role: Finance Administrator
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
Location: Hybrid / Remote
Overview
2Fawcett Recruitment are working with a business located within Leeds who are seeking a full time finance administrator to join their team to support the day-to-day operations of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing both administrative and basic financial tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous hands-on experience in an finance role
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with credit control or liaising with HMRC
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a small business environment where flexibility is required
Administrative Duties:
- General office administration and clerical support
- Responding to emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with diary and calendar management, including meeting scheduling
- Updating records and managing data via our CRM system (Salesforce)
- Providing survey updates using SurveyMonkey
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero
- Processing invoices and receipts
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports for the CEO including inputting his expenses
- Dealing with HMRC – VAT returns
- Working closely with the external accountant for payroll
- Credit control
- Dealing with assessors invoices, working closely with other colleagues
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an admin / finance role
- Proficiency with Xero Accounting software
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficently
Working Hours & Schedule:
- 5 days per week, 09:00-17:00
- Flexible working hours within the agreed schedule
