Role: Finance Administrator
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
Location: Hybrid / Remote

Overview
2Fawcett Recruitment are working with a business located within Leeds who are seeking a full time finance administrator to join their team to support the day-to-day operations of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing both administrative and basic financial tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous hands-on experience in an finance role
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience with credit control or liaising with HMRC
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a small business environment where flexibility is required

Administrative Duties:

  • General office administration and clerical support
  • Responding to emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting with diary and calendar management, including meeting scheduling
  • Updating records and managing data via our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Providing survey updates using SurveyMonkey

Bookkeeping Duties:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero
  • Processing invoices and receipts
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Preparing financial reports for the CEO including inputting his expenses
  • Dealing with HMRC – VAT returns
  • Working closely with the external accountant for payroll
  • Credit control
  • Dealing with assessors invoices, working closely with other colleagues

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an admin / finance role
  • Proficiency with Xero Accounting software
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficently

Working Hours & Schedule:

  • 5 days per week, 09:00-17:00
  • Flexible working hours within the agreed schedule
