Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications for manufacturing and production
• Support New Product Development (NPD) and contribute to innovative design improvements
• Liaise with production and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness
• Assist in project planning, timelines, and delivering on key engineering milestones
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with other engineers to improve existing designs
• Ensure all design work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering department

Requirements:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Previous industry experience in a design-related role is desirable but not essential—graduates with placement experience are welcome
