About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with strong experience in Creo to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for creating innovative mechanical designs.

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D models and technical drawings, supporting the development of new products and improving existing designs. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Creo.
  • Develop detailed mechanical designs and assemblies, ensuring manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support product development from concept through to production release.
  • Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
  • Maintain design documentation in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to design process enhancements.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience using Creo for mechanical design and drafting.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill).
  • Familiarity with FEA or other simulation tools.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical devices).
