Data Analyst | Logistics & Supply Chain | East Midlands

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

2fawcett are working with an established UK logistics operation is looking to hire a Data Analyst to support warehouse and transport functions through insight-led decision making. This role sits close to operations and plays a key part in improving efficiency, performance, and cost control across the supply chain.

The role requires an on-site presence Mon – Thu with the option to work from home on Fridays.

The role
You’ll analyse data from multiple operational systems, turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insight. Working closely with warehouse, transport, and leadership teams, you’ll help identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse operational data across warehousing, inventory, and transport activity
  • Build and maintain dashboards and performance reports
  • Support forecasting, optimisation, and process improvement initiatives
  • Investigate root causes of delays, errors, and cost leakage
  • Ensure data accuracy and improve reporting workflows through automation

About you

  • 1–2+ years’ experience in data or operational analytics within logistics, supply chain, or distribution
  • Strong SQL capability and experience working with large transactional datasets
  • Confident producing dashboards and KPIs for both operational and senior stakeholders
  • Exposure to WMS, TMS, ERP, or similar systems is highly desirable

Nice to have

  • Power BI certification
  • SQL or Data Analytics certifications
  • Postgraduate qualification in analytics, operations, or a related field
