Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Risk Analyst to join our client, a highly recognised and market-leading organisation in their sector.

You will play a key role in assessing credit applications, monitoring risk, and supporting the implementation of effective credit strategies. This position is ideal for someone with a strong finance background particularly in credit risk management with an understanding of risk analysis and fraud prevention. You will thrive if you enjoy analytical challenges, problem-solving, and contributing to strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review credit applications and monitor cash transactions to identify potential risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend credit limits or adjustments.
  • Support fraud prevention measures and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Analyse financial accounts and credit reports to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of credit decisions and follow-up actions.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to support seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in credit risk management or a similar finance role is essential.
  • Understanding of credit risk principles, risk analysis, and fraud prevention.
  • Confident user of Excel and other finance systems.
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and credit reports.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, or an AAT qualification are desirable.
