2fawcett are supporting a well-established business to recruit for a Credit Controller to join their award-winning team. Priding themselves on their reputation in their industry they’re seeking a dedicated individual to join their thriving and growing business.

Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:

  • Raise and process sales invoices/credits
  • Create and manage accurate customer records
  • Conduct credit checks for new and existing customers
  • Set and agree payment terms for credit arrangements
  • Monitor customer payments and ensure adherence to credit limits
  • Resolve invoicing queries with internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaise with customers and finance companies regarding payments
  • Chase overdue invoices and payments via phone and email
  • Generate weekly debtor reports and internal accounts updates
  • Maintain detailed records of collection activities
  • Prepare and issue weekly/monthly financial reports
  • Send customer statements via email/post
  • Handle debtor escalations as needed

Requirements of the Credit Controller:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good knowledge of Xero or Sage
  • Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our clients talented team while also using initiative.
