Salary: £26,000 – 28,000 (Dependant on experience & pro rata)

Type: Part-time, Permanent, Office-based, 25 – 30 hours (Flexibility offered)

 

2fawcett Recruitment are seeking a motivated and detail-focused finance professional to join our client’s friendly and supportive finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or grow their career in finance across sales ledger and credit control. Training and support will be provided.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Chase late payments by phone, email, or letters.
  • Keep customer accounts and the sales ledger up to date.
  • Match payments to the correct invoices.
  • Set up new customer accounts and carry out credit checks.
  • Help sort out invoice or payment issues.
  • Put accounts on hold if payments are overdue.
  • Help with monthly tasks and direct debits.
  • Send invoices and statements to customers.
  • Support the finance team when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous finance experience in administration, sales ledger, or credit control.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is ideal.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective team player who can also work independently.
