2fawcett Recruitment are seeking a motivated and detail-focused finance professional to join our client’s friendly and supportive finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or grow their career in finance across sales ledger and credit control. Training and support will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Chase late payments by phone, email, or letters.
- Keep customer accounts and the sales ledger up to date.
- Match payments to the correct invoices.
- Set up new customer accounts and carry out credit checks.
- Help sort out invoice or payment issues.
- Put accounts on hold if payments are overdue.
- Help with monthly tasks and direct debits.
- Send invoices and statements to customers.
- Support the finance team when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous finance experience in administration, sales ledger, or credit control.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is ideal.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective team player who can also work independently.
