Job Title: Client Manager (Accountancy Practice)

Location: Loughborough

Salary: Up to £45,000 p.a

We are actively seeking a Client Manager to join our client who is an accountancy practice based in Loughborough. We’d love to hear from candidates with experience in managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full portfolio of clients, ensuring high standards of service and compliance.
  • Review accounts following preparation to draft stage and calculate tax liabilities.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure accounts are finalised for partner meetings.
  • Ensure all statutory deadlines are met within your portfolio.
  • Prepare self-assessment returns for directors/shareholders within your portfolio.
  • Act as first point of contact for clients, building strong relationships.
  • Responsible for own billing and time management.
  • Conduct audit work, including statutory audits, SAR, and grant audits.
  • Opportunity to develop your own portfolio and take client meetings.
  • Exposure to specialist work such as forecasting, business valuations, and EMI schemes.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is required.
  • Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant, candidates who are near completion with only a few exams remaining will also be considered.
  • Strong client management and communication skills.
  • Experience in audit and accounts preparation.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.
