2Fawcett Recruitment is supporting a growing client in Derby who is looking for a talented CAD Technician. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and supporting the design team across a range of projects. While experience in structural engineering is beneficial, the focus is on strong CAD skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and update 2D and 3D CAD drawings across a variety of projects.
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications.
• Interpret design briefs and technical specifications to deliver accurate documentation.
• Maintain drawing standards, templates, and filing systems.
• Support design reviews and revisions as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit; other CAD software is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver work to deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Structural experience is desirable but not essential.
